DESCRIPTION:Clean Energy Opportunity Spotlight Series\n\nThe Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Energy Programs Office (EPO) is pleased to announce the next session of the Clean Energy Opportunity Spotlight Series! \nIn these monthly virtual conversations\, EPO will bring you the need-to-know information about an exciting array of funding and technical assistance programs designed to help Pennsylvania’s homes\, businesses\, municipalities\, and non-profits thrive in a diversified\, affordable clean energy future. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with program experts and former participants to ask questions and spur future conversations about how EPO programs can benefit you or your organization. \n\nUpcoming Spotlight Topic: Upgrading Your Commercial Property with C-PACE \nCalling all commercial property owners! Our first 2026 Spotlight will feature speakers from the Sustainable Energy Fund (SEF) and Philadelphia Energy Authority presenting the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) Program\, a financial tool for property owners  in participating counties to obtain low-cost\, long-term financing for energy efficient equipment\, renewable energy\, water conservation\, resiliency\, and indoor air quality projects. C-PACE can provide up to 100% funding of total project costs by placing a special voluntary assessment on the property that repays the costs of the upgrades including equipment\, labor and soft costs. Because C-PACE is attached to a property assessment\, it is a very secure form of financing.
