DESCRIPTION:Solar States and Elmwood Park Zoo will host a Solar Safari on Friday August 22. The event will unveil a new 250-kilowatt (kW) rooftop solar array powering the Frank and Paige Engro Veterinary Health Center. \nZoo guests and event attendees will be greeted by a solar education station at the park’s promenade\, featuring hands-on activities\, solar games\, giveaways\, and fun for families \nPre-registered attendees will be invited on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the rooftop solar energy system\, inverters\, and electrical infrastructure.
