SUMMARY:FDR Park Community Planting
DESCRIPTION:Join Fairmount Park for a volunteer workday at Pattison Lagoon on Friday\, April 26th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM to celebrate Arbor Day. The area around the lagoon was recently cleared of invasive species\, and we need your help planting more native trees & shrubs and spreading 3 acres worth of seeds! The seed mix we’re using is a combination of native grasses that will be established over the winter and provide benefits to the wildlife around the lagoon. \nThis volunteer event is open to all ages and people of all abilities.
