Location: Hybrid – Philadelphia based (106 W. Clearfield St, Phila, PA 19121) with occasional travel to our Delaware office (260 Chapman Rd, Suite 103 Newark, DE 19702).
Hours: Full time: 40 hours per week
Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Energy Coordinating Agency (ECA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to help people conserve energy and to promote a sustainable and socially equitable energy future for all. Since 1984, ECA has led the design and implementation of high-quality energy conservation, education, and home repair initiatives to eliminate energy burden and stabilize low-income families in their homes and communities.

Position Description

The Business Systems Administrator will support ECA in managing our data and business technology, primarily working out of our Philadelphia office, with occasional travel to our Delaware sites. The primary charge of this position is to work across departments on a dayto-day basis, monitoring adoption, engagement, and data quality. The BSA will also support employee use and manage access across other core business technologies including company cell phones, videoconferencing, document editing, faxing, and the VOIP system. Successful candidates will exercise patience and a very positive “bedside manner” to support both our team and partner users whose processes and ways of interacting with ECA technology are changing and capture feedback to inform future rollouts of new business technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains reports to monitor data quality on a day-to-day basis.
  • Identifies data quality issues and generates remedies.
  • Identifies staff training needs, collaborates with program leads to schedule appropriate training times, and maintains consistent user engagement on adoption.
  • Creates and updates accessible resources in written and video formats guiding staff use of business technologies.
  • Tracks inventory of computers, cellphones, associated accessories, and other technology resources.
  • Manages access to employee cellphones and is the first line of problem-solving for employees.
  • Partners with program staff on how to digitize processes currently on paper.
  • Engages with administrative and program staff on enhancing internal communication and collaboration through the adoption of managed coordination tools.
  • Offers project management support for digital transformation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in a professional setting
  • Passion for ECA’s mission-driven work including housing equity and clean energy
  • Salesforce Administration at the User Admin or System Admin level. ECA tracks clients of programs, donors, vendors, employees, suppliers, inventory, and finances all through a customized Salesforce solution. (Preferred)
  • Experienced in and ready to gain deeper proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including SharePoint and Visio), Adobe (including E-Sign and Forms), & VOIP call center management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and end-user coaching skills
  • Interacts easily with all levels of staff.
  • Able to problem-solve, collaborate, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

What We Offer

The pay range for this position is $70,000 – $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience. ECA provides health and dental coverage, paid holidays, and a 403(b) plan with employer matching, among other benefits.
