ERM is seeking a motivated Project Engineer/Scientist to join our consulting team in Malvern, PA. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers on environmental compliance projects. This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team on challenging environmental projects North America and global clients. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and revise client sustainability reports and other relevant communications.
• Understand and advise upon the GRI standards and similar sustainability reporting frameworks.
• Support the development and implementation of EHS compliance and management system programs.
• Provide general environmental compliance support to clients, including on-site assistance.
• Perform environmental compliance assessments and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform Phase I environmental site assessments to support property transfer transactions.
• Perform multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
• Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers to effectively manage projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree required, with Master’s degree in relevant field a plus. We consider a broad range of undergraduate majors and advanced degrees. Minimum 3.5 GPA.
• Recent graduate to 3 years of relevant environmental experience or professional internships.
• Demonstrated interest in environmental issues (through related coursework, previous employment, or personal endeavors).
• Experience with Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, stormwater permitting, hazardous and non-hazardous waste program management.
• Strong writing skills; experience writing technical reports; familiarity with AP and MLA style guidance.
• Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point programs.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.
