The Philadelphia Green Capital Corp. (PGCC) is looking to hire its first Solar For All (SFA) Program Manager. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join the PGCC team during a time of strategic organizational growth. This is an ideal role for someone with an entrepreneurial approach and high-level financial and analytical skills to support the planning and implementation of the SFA program. Specific job responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing, synthesizing, and tracking program budget and expended funds
  • Supporting procurement processes related to Solar For All, including RFPs adhering to federal procurement requirements, including procurements for solar installers, vendors, and other program partners
  • Working closely with PGCC financial and operations staff on financial management and tracking program costs, as well as invoicing and payments related to SFA
  • Developing monthly, quarterly, and annual federal grant reports, as appropriate
  • Managing program model in in Microsoft Excel, specifically regarding program service delivery projections and budget projections
  • Building and refining detailed financial models for specific financial product structures that support SFA program implementation, including solar leases, debt products, and revolving funds
  • Supporting contracting, subaward documentation, and monitoring
  • Supporting reports on SFA projects, impact metrics, and/or use of funds; reports will be for internal audiences (PGCC management and Board of Directors) as well as external audiences (including program partners, community organizations, government officials)
  • Support SFA-related research on policy and regulations

This is a hybrid position that combines remote work with meaningful in-person collaboration. Travel to regionally community events is required. The incumbent is required to reside in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware or Montgomery county within six months of the position start date.

Qualifications:

Candidates with a majority, but not necessarily all, of the below qualifications are encouraged to apply:

  • Bachelors’ degree (required)
  • Experience with federal grant administration and reporting requirements
  • Strong analytical skills; familiarity with financial modeling and/or accounting principles is a plus
  • Experience with residential solar, particularly solar financing options (cash, debt, lease) preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; including experience presenting information for internal and external audiences in memo and PowerPoint form
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter, with high emotional intelligence, curiosity, and a desire to work collaboratively
  • Proficiency with the following technologies is strongly preferred: MS Office with focus on Excel and PowerPoint, Salesforce, QuickBooks or accounting software, and project management platforms

Salary & Benefits: Compensation will be commensurate with experience and skill set, with a target salary range of $75,000 – $85,000 per year. Benefits include (but are not limited to) a generous healthcare package, retirement benefits, paid time off, flexibility, and opportunity for growth.
