PEA’s Program Manager, Alon Abramson will be on the City and State-led Affordability Strategies for High Energy Burdens panel Monday, November 16th at 2pm with Ariel Drehobl, Senior Research Associate at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE).
This presentation will explore newly released ACEEE research on energy burdens nationally, regionally, and locally across the US. We will focus on NJ and PA, looking at how energy burdens differ by demographic groups, income, and housing characteristics. We will explore city and state-led policy solutions for lowering high energy burdens through more equitable energy efficiency investments, policy goals, and strategies.
