Join KEEA and EEA-NJ  November 16th – 20th for their new regional policy conference, Energy Efficiency Evolving: Policy, Equity, & Market Transformation in the Mid-Atlantic.

The virtual conference will convene leading voices to explore the energy efficiency policy landscape of today, and discuss what work yet remains for a more equitable and prosperous tomorrow.

The EE Evolving virtual hub features a main stage, attendee profiles to facilitate contact building, an exhibitor hall, and a continuous main lobby conversation thread. In the afternoons, join us for fireside chats with high-profile guests, followed by face-to-face networking.

PEA’s Program Manager,  Alon Abramson will be on the City and State-led Affordability Strategies for High Energy Burdens panel Monday, November 16th at 2pm with Ariel Drehobl, Senior Research Associate at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE).

This presentation will explore newly released ACEEE research on energy burdens nationally, regionally, and locally across the US. We will focus on NJ and PA, looking at how energy burdens differ by demographic groups, income, and housing characteristics. We will explore city and state-led policy solutions for lowering high energy burdens through more equitable energy efficiency investments, policy goals, and strategies.
