Residents + Communities

Preserving & Powering Affordable Homes

Safer homes. Lower bills. Healthier neighborhoods.

The clean energy transition presents an opportunity to remake our home’s heating, cooling, and power systems.

PEA collaborates with service partners and clean energy providers to help residents cut energy costs, complete critical repairs, and improve home comfort. The result is healthier communities and a more resilient city.

In Philadelphia, too many low-income homeowners are living in unsafe homes they can’t afford to fix. Built to Last helps low-income homeowners repair and preserve aging homes through a coordinated, whole-home approach.

Health & Safety Repairs

Many homes require comprehensive repairs before they are eligible for energy efficiency or weatherization services. Built to Last addresses this challenge by layering funding and services into a streamlined one-stop program.

Clean Energy Solutions

PEA prioritizes high-efficiency upgrades and low-cost renewable energy. We are a proud ENERGY STAR Home Upgrade partner, installing energy-efficient heat pumps, water heaters, smart thermostats, and weatherization upgrades.
