HRC is delivering a Community Solar education and outreach program serving West Philadelphia residents and Philadelphia citywide, including Town Halls and online workshops (major pushes in April, May, and June) and ongoing community solar education through October.
What you’ll do
- Lead production from concept-to-delivery: pre-production, shoot, edit, and finish.
- Capture strong interviews + b-roll in real-world settings (community, events, impacted sites).
- Create 30-second, 15-second, and 6-second versions for each ad and export in platform-ready formats.
- Optimize edits for paid ads on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube (hooks, pacing, captions, safe zones, aspect ratios).
- Manage footage and deliver organized project files and final exports on deadline.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience producing short-form ad creative (nonprofit, advocacy, political, public-interest, or brand campaigns a plus).
- Demonstrated experience creating and optimizing ads for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Strong editing skills (Premiere, Final Cut, or DaVinci) with clean audio handling and basic color correction.
- Comfortable with a lean production setup (camera, basic lighting, and audio workflow).
- Reliable, responsive, and able to take direction and iterate quickly.
Preferred
- Experience producing multiple cutdowns from a master edit and building retention-focused structure.
