Job Title: Senior Finance Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Finance, Rachid Echane
Number of direct reports: 0
Location: Hybrid – partial work from home (Philadelphia residency required) and partial at our office at 30 S. 15th St., Suite 801, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19102.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Senior Finance Coordinator to support the daily financial operations of our organization. The SFC will assist with budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Key success factors include excellence in data accuracy, attention to detail, internal communications, teamwork, and effective time management by prioritizing tasks and consistently meeting deadlines. Confidentiality and integrity are critical in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and documentation.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and forecasting.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and employee reimbursements.
  • Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
  • Maintain confidential financial information and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field. Progress toward CPA is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting; budgeting and forecasting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QBO)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Salary & Benefits: $70,000 to $80,000 commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits package including a generous healthcare package, retirement and fringe benefits, paid time off and government holidays.
