Roles and Responsibilities: As an Energy Efficiency Intern Apprentice, you will support the energy efficiency team in identifying and implementing cost-effective energy efficiency measures. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with conducting energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for energy savings
  • Learning how to recommend energy-efficient solutions to clients and explaining the benefits of each option
  • Helping to develop energy efficiency project proposals and cost estimates
  • Conducting research and analysis on energy efficiency technologies and best practices
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure all projects are completed efficiently and effectively

Day in the Life: Your typical day as an Energy Efficiency Intern Apprentice will involve:

  • Assisting with conducting energy audits and assessments at client sites
  • Analyzing energy usage data and identifying opportunities for savings
  • Assisting with the development of energy efficiency project proposals and cost estimates
  • Conducting research on energy efficiency technologies and best practices
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Learning about industry regulations and standards
