Advancing clean and efficient energy is a priority for the City of Philadelphia. Vision 3 of Greenworks: A Vision for a Sustainable Philadelphia focuses toward a future where all Philadelphians efficiently use clean energy that they can afford. To further that vision, the City of Philadelphia in partnership with the Philadelphia Energy Authority (PEA) are releasing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for an off-site renewable energy power purchase agreement. Through this RFP, the City of Philadelphia will look to make a long-term commitment to purchase renewable energy from a large-scale wind, solar or other renewable project in the region, the first time the City has tried to make this type of commitment.
Responses must be received no later than 5:00 P.M. on November 29th, 2017. Responses should be electronically emailed to energy@phila.gov and be no larger than 10MB to ensure delivery.
